THE Piedmont Triad Omnium will now be under the direction of a new non-profit organization entitled: THE Piedmont Triad Omnium, LLC.
The purpose of TPTO is to raise money for local charities, primarily The Central Chapter of the MS Society through sanctioned USA Cycling events.
Additional events may follow.
There’s nothing like it. Heart pounding, legs throbbing, lungs burning, eyes bleeding excitement. Come & challenge yourself as never before in the Piedmont’s Premier Omnium. A brand new event on brand new courses located in Lexington & Thomasville, North Carolina. This Omnium will soon become a classic and has something for everyone.
A RECTANGULAR 0.7 Mile Criterium under the lights of Uptown Lexington, NC with only 4 turns!!!!
A Road Race that will challenge all levels of riders including rolling terrain, several attention getting upturns (600ft/lap) & a 3.4 mile flat finish. Climbers will try to keep the sprinters at bay on this challenging 11.6 mile loop just off of Business I-85 in Davidson County.
A 14 mile Time Trial located in Thomasville, NC that is flat and fast.
